1. How to delete your account

You can delete your GetOut Sport account directly from the mobile app or website by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your GetOut Sport account.
  2. Go to your profile by tapping your profile picture or via the menu.
  3. Open account settings.
  4. Tap "Delete my account" and confirm your choice.

2. Data that is deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently deleted:

  • Profile information (name, photo, email address, phone number)
  • Booking history and search preferences
  • Favorites list and club subscriptions
  • Saved payment methods (removed from our payment processor Stripe)
  • Notification preferences and app settings

3. Data that is retained

In compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations, some data is retained after account deletion:

  • Billing and transaction data: retained for 10 years in accordance with French Commercial Code (article L123-22) and tax obligations.
  • Data necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims: retained for the applicable limitation period (5 years maximum).

4. Processing timeline

Account deletion takes effect immediately. Your personal data is deleted within 30 days of your request. Data retained for legal obligations is automatically deleted at the end of the applicable retention period.
